OHSAS 18001 Certified

The law states that we have a legal duty as employers to put in place suitable arrangements to manage for health and safety. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to put in place arrangements to control health and safety risks.

With this in mind I embarked, with my Directors backing on gaining BS OHSAS18001:2007 status. Although Incontrol Ltd already had successful Health and Safety practices in place we wanted to work towards a national and international recognised standard.

I wanted Incontrol Ltd to strive towards a formal management system/framework that is regularly audited and certified.

Now we have BS OHSAS18001:2007 status in place Clients and Organisations can see, at a glance, that Incontrol Ltd are committed to a structured approach in providing a safe working environment for our employees and others who our working practice impacts.

Achilles B2

Following a two day audit from Achilles on 27th and 28th of July 2015 we are pleased to announce we have moved up to Achilles B2 Verify status.

To achieve the Achilles UVDB Verify B2 accreditation Incontrol Ltd underwent a rigorous assessment during which the company’s Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) management systems were evaluated. This was followed by a review at a working site to determine how well these systems are being implemented and therefore also identified the internal engagement of these systems within the Company.

A big well done for the continued excellence highlighted by the Auditor for Andy Thackham and his team at Ratcliffe Power Station!
